The trip to Duluth actually made me realise that even if we're from different countries and different cultures we're all people and we like similar things. The host family I stayed with for two weeks could not be better. The way they cared about me and took care of me was so special. They made a lot of things just to make sure I was comfortable and I was having fun and they welcomed me like one of them. Jacquie was so kind to me in so many ways that she made me get comfortable and so glad that I was so lucky just to be able to stay with them. Phil was such a great person to have a talk, I just loved when he was telling stories about himself and his family, it was great and taught me a lot about the way they live and about their culture. I've always wanted a sister and when I met Grace and Ella I was sure that my life would be a lot better if I had one, living with them in the same house was all about laughing, joking and having good time all together and that's one of the things I'm going to miss so much. People I met here is mostly kind and good and then there is Nick. He is the best host I couldn't even imagine to have. I'm just glad he applied for the program and I got to stay with him. The best times I had while staying here were when I was with Nick and Erika. He is one of the best people I've ever met in my life and in some ways he's like my brother. I had fun times when I was with him and I learned a lot about the culture. It was great enough to have this trip and this experience but when I was with Nick it became a lot better. I just only hope that he gets to visit my country and stay with me so that we can do more fun stuff together and maybe this time he could learn about my culture. The time I had here was great and I'm glad that I was lucky enough to stay with them, I wouldn't ask for anyone else and I'm so happy I met them.
